The short version lives on the home page. This is the longer one — for anyone who wants to know who's actually behind the camera, and why we point it at our own lives in the first place.
We're Roshan and Dikshya. We both grew up in Nepal, built a home in Darwin, and got married in Bali somewhere in the middle. The Pretty World started as a way to keep the in-between — not the highlight reel, but the slow roads, the mundane Tuesdays, the bits of marriage and migration that nobody hands you a manual for.
Why “the pretty world”
Because life across two countries is genuinely beautiful, and also genuinely complicated, and we got tired of feeds that only ever show one of those. We wanted a place big enough for both — the sunsets and the logistics, the wedding and the visa paperwork. Pretty, but honest about it.
We're not here to perform a perfect life. We're here to document a real one, carefully enough that it stays beautiful.
